Announcement regarding the entry and exit of Algerian community members into and out of the national territory for holders of foreign passports without obtaining an entry visa.
In application of the high instructions of the President of the Republic, mindful of the concerns of the members of the national community established abroad, and in order to facilitate the procedures for their entry into the national territory and their return to their usual places of residence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs our citizens living abroad and holding valid foreign passports that, exceptionally and until December 31st, 2025, they are authorized to enter and leave the national territory without obtaining a visa, subject to the use of the same documents on entry and exit, in two cases:
Presentation of a valid foreign passport accompanied by an electronic biometric
national identity document, even expired ;
Presentation of a valid foreign passport with a biometric Algerian passport, even if this latter has expired.
